WSTS 2010 is now accepting proposals for papers. If you would like to propose a talk
please write an abstract describing the talk. Submit your abstract, along with the name
of the session to which you think it would contribute, to the chairman of the conference, Marc Weiss, at:
mweiss@boulder.nist.gov
WSTS 2010 will focus on Challenges and Opportunities as new timing methods are deployed over
the Next Generation Network. The Agenda will cover the following topics.
Keynote talk: Time Synchronization and Standards for the Smart Grid by Dr. Gerald J. FitzPatrick, NIST Lead on aspects of the Smart Grid
Session 1 - Standards Update
Session 2 - Challenges and Opportunities in Deployment of NTP/PTP/SyncE/NGN-timing
Session 3 - Metrics, Masks, and Measurement
Session 4 - Developments in Sync Sources
Session 5 - Real-time services and related sync and timing issues
Session 6 - Emerging Issues
