Promise into Practice
The Worlds of Telecom and Datacom are merging. As the telecom/datacom core shifts from synchronous to asynchronous,
new methods of providing sync for applications have been developed into standards.
This Workshop, now in its 18th year, is the unique industry-neutral forum in North America
for staying current with this revolution. WSTS and its sister conference
ITSF
in Europe represent a global alliance of pre-eminent experts in synchronization for telecom and related applications.
Many of these experts act as steering group members for both conferences, as well as sit
on various standards bodies including ITU, ATIS, IEEE and IETF.
What Real-World problems occur in practice as the promise of new time/timing standards roll out? How
are the international sync standards continuing to evolve? Learn what is happening and have an impact on this
evolution. Come to this interactive Workshop in Colorado May 13-15, 2008, the NIST-ATIS-IEEE WSTS'08.
This workshop is co-sponsored by ATIS-OPTXS, and by the IEEE Communications Society.
